Below you'll find all the information about joining, membership fees, kits and deregistering at US Basketball.

Join US

Love basketball and good vibes? Then you're in the right place at U.S. Basketbal! You can train along twice for free to find the team that suits you best. Fill in the interest form and we'll invite you to a trial training.

Played at another club in the last 5 years? Make sure you're deregistered there and free of any debts. The statement of no debt is arranged online via basketball.nl.

Membership fees

These are the membership fees at US

Competition member

Play matches for US. Your contribution depends on how many times your team trains per week.

Trains 2x per week€330,- per season
Trains 1.5x per week€300,- per season
Trains 1x per week€270,- per season

Recreational member

Training only, without playing matches.€170,- per season

Students get 10% discount on their membership fee at US.

Joining between 1 August and 31 December: full season membership fee.

Joining between 1 January and 31 March: reduced season membership fee.

Leave US

Want to leave U.S.? Send an email to secretaris@usbasketball.nl with your cancellation. This is the only way to officially cancel! If you don't deregister, you will keep paying your membership fee (even if you've told your coach and team).

Cancellation of your membership for the new season must be done before 1 May. There is no refund of membership fees in case of mid-season cancellation after the start of the season (1 September). If you cancel after 1 May, a one-off fee of €50 applies, see below.

Competition member

Period 1 September - 30 April: full year membership fee for the current season is due
Period 1 May - 31 August: €50,- penalty

Recreational (training member)

Period 1 September - 31 December: membership fee for half a season is due
Period 1 January - 31 August: full membership fee for the current season is due

Disclaimer regarding deregistering at US: When you deregister, you give up all your rights to play in a team. The board assumes there is a spot in a team and will forward new registrations to this team. When you register again, you therefore have no priority over new members.
